The document describes the limited warranty agreement (‘Warranty’) of Vitality Electric Vehicles (herein referred to as ‘VLEKTRA’) regarding your (herein referred to as the ‘Buyer’) purchase of Electric Motorcycle(s).

VLEKTRA warrants that its battery and motor be free of defects in material and production errors. When electric battery and/or motor do not conform to this Warranty, VLEKTRA shall provide a free replacement of the defective battery and/or motor provided Warranty falls within the specified period and claim(s) correspond to the terms and conditions, as described below:

 

1. Warranty Period: Along with the purchase of VLEKTRA electric motorcycle, battery comes with a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 kilometers (whichever comes earlier) and motor comes with a warranty of 2 years or 20,000 kilometers (whichever comes earlier) from the date of purchase of the motorcycle.

 

2. The Warranty ONLY covers manufacturing defect for both battery and motor.

 

3. The Warranty only applies to battery and motor of the electric motorcycle; consumables like tires, control cables, disk brakes, brake pad, etc. are not accepted under this Warranty.

 

4. The owner of the motorcycle should bring this Warranty Certificate along with the motorcycle at the time of warranty claim.

 

5. Only first owner of the motorcycle has rights to claim warranty; second or subsequent owners cannot avail this warranty claim facility of the motorcycle.

 

6. The warranty only concerns cases of normal use, which means VLEKTRA electric motorcycle is not used to carry load more than 180 kilograms (excluding the weight of the electric motorcycle itself).

 

7. Use of genuine parts and application of aftermarket parts under our supervision is necessary. If there is evidence of non-genuine parts or modifications/alterations from non-authorized centers, warranty shall stand void.

 

8. Any modifications or alterations made/done outside VLEKTRA shall render this Warranty null and void.

a. The Warranty will be void if changes or alteration in motorcycles is made like attachment of extra electrical equipment in wiring of the motorcycle or attachment of additional parts like lights, horns, etc. among other things without our consent.

b. The Warranty will be void if there is evidence that material service / alteration / addition / tempering has been done to the motorcycle from outside of VLEKTRA designated service stations or individuals.

c. Warranty claim of the motorcycle will not be entertained in case of defects and damages incurring due to any road accident or incorrect voltage application, any natural disaster, or any other defect which incurs from usage besides manufacturing fault.

d. It is mandatory to bring the motorcycle at our service station for settlement of any Warranty claim; showing defect parts will not be enough for Warranty claim.

 

9. Odometer of speedometer must be in working condition at the time of warranty claim; if there is evidence of repair or any sort of tempering with the odometer or speedometer not being functional, this warranty shall stand void.

 

10. The Warranty only applies if the electric battery and motor are wired and installed correctly at the time of warranty claim.

 

11. No agent, distributor, or dealer is authorized to modify, adapt, or extend these warranty conditions.

 

12. If VLEKTRA has repaired or replaced electric battery and/or motor under the Warranty, no new warranty period will commence, but the remainder of the original warranty period will continue to apply.

 

13. Any damage or defects caused by road accident or disaster shall not be entertained by this Warranty.

 

14. The Buyer may not rely on any other information or documentation.
